This is a gorgeous Tama Starphonic PMM146STM 6x14, 6-ply maple snare drum. It has an outer ply of mappa burl (poplar), and features freedom lugs, diecast hoops, and MLS50A/B linear drive strainer. Matt selected this specific instrument after inspecting dozens of the same model, as no two are alike.
